The BSX-100 is an accompanying fibre base station to Ikegami’s broadcast Unicam camera systems, offering a coherent upgrade path from SDI to IP, from SDR to HDR and from HD into HD/4K workflow. As a fully hybrid multi-format base station, the BSX-100 offers two 10GbE/25GbE redundant SFP slots to exchange video, audio and other media data conforming to SMPTE – NMOS – AMWA and AIMS standards. Simultaneous SDR/HDR and HD/UHD production is supplemented by comprehensive SDI interfaces. Housed in 3U half-rack-width, the BSX-100 integrates easily into OB vehicles or wherever compactness and low mass are important.
